In Chaldean numerology, partnerships between two people are defined as a unique field of compatibility or incompatibility between numbers. This means that a) the relationship between two numbers in a partnership and b) general interaction between two numbers does not necessarily yield the same quality.
Sometimes, of course, this holds true—for example, in the relationship between numbers 2 and 9, where one partner is under the influence of number 2 and the other under the influence of number 9. If someone has the numbers 2 and 9 present in their personal numerology, this is generally incompatible. Similarly, the relationship between a person with a strong number 2 and a person with a strong number 9 can be challenging.
If ancient Chaldean numerology addressed partnerships, the records of such compatibility analyses have not been preserved, or at least I personally do not have access to such information. Some contemporary Chaldean numerologists have proposed specific approaches to understanding number compatibility in partnerships. Inevitably, there are varying interpretations of these compatibilities since this is a relatively new area of research.
The relationship between numbers 4 and 6 in a partnership implies that one partner is under the influence of number 4, while the other is under the influence of number 6. Numerologists have differing views on this connection; some see it as favorable, while others consider it more challenging.
Those who argue for a less favorable interpretation may point to the fact that the two numbers belong to different major groups. Number 4 belongs to the group 1-2-4-7, while number 6 belongs to the group 3-6-9. In personal analyses, the connection between 4 and 6 often creates challenges in partnerships and unusual emotional dynamics. It may bring excessive or karmically conditioned desires for attention and can lead to issues with health or finances.
However, a partnership where one person is influenced by number 4 and the other by number 6 should not be confused with the relationships between numbers in a personal numerology chart. My interpretation of such a relationship leans more positively. Particularly in the case of Total Name Number (TNN) and a Birth Number, the active originality of number 4 tends to align well with the receptive nature of number 6. Such a pairing tends to work more effectively when the partners engage in public spaces or media-related endeavors. Sexual compatibility is typically emphasized in this partnership.
It’s worth noting that the two numbers come from different groups, so occasional challenges may arise. When comparing the Life Path numbers of both partners, the relationship is less favorable than in other contexts, though it still brings more benefits than disadvantages.
This, however, does not hold true when the base number 6 is represented by the number 15 or its higher occurrences (69, 78, 87, and 96, whose digits all reduce to 15). In cases where any key personal numbers reveal such a relationship with 15, caution is advised. In this scenario, the relationship between 4 and 6 can bring significant challenges, trials, heavy karmic burdens, and conflict between partners. Such a couple might be recognizable by eccentric ideas, flamboyant behavior, or washing their dirty linen in public. They may also manipulate their surroundings to achieve selfish goals.
